Catch underpayments before the ATO or Fair Work does.

WorkScudo monitors every pay run against the award and Payday Super deadlines, and drafts the paperwork to fix it. You see what is overdue, what waiting is likely to cost and the one step that fixes it.

  • Every pay run checked
  • Payday Super deadlines tracked
  • Xero, MYOB and Employment Hero
  • Worker records stay private
  • Audit-ready reporting

Most underpayments are configuration, not intent.

A penalty rate that was never switched on. A classification set at onboarding and never revisited. A super payment that failed at the clearing house and was never chased.

Payday Super turned a quarterly superannuation obligation into one that falls due every payday. Deadlines are counted in business days, and every late or short contribution is individually dated. A gap that once surfaced at the end of a quarter now surfaces within a week.

WorkScudo is the independent check on what comes out of your payroll. It finds the problem while it is still a payroll fix, rather than a matter for a regulator or a lawyer.

What you can see in the employer portal

Every item is checked on every pay run and raised with the amount, the date it was due and the fix.

  • Overdue super

Every contribution matched to the payday it belongs to, with its business-day deadline and how many days late it is.

  • Rates against the award

Each staff member's rate compared with the award rate for their classification, including casual loading, penalty rates and overtime.

  • Back pay to add

Where a rate was wrong, the shortfall is worked out per pay period so the next pay run can put it right.

  • Returned contributions

Contributions bounced by a fund, and new starters without a fund, are flagged before the deadline passes.

  • Contracts on file

See whose contract is on file and what each one says about pay, hours and classification.

  • Classification review

Flags where duties may have outgrown a classification, so you can move someone up or record why not.

From pay run to fixed

It sits beside the payroll system you already run.

  1. Connect

Connect Xero, MYOB or Employment Hero, or upload pay run reports. Add each staff member's contract.

  2. Check

Every pay run is compared with the award, the contract and the Payday Super deadline for that payday.

  3. Fix

Issues are sorted as Critical, Review or Compliant, each with the one step that resolves it and the cost of waiting.

  4. Record

Fixes, payments and SG charge statement drafts are written to a time-stamped audit log you can export.

An independent check, not another dashboard

WorkScudo checks payroll output rather than producing it. You keep running Xero, MYOB, Employment Hero or whatever you already use, and WorkScudo reconciles what comes out of it against the award and the super guarantee.

Worker records stay with workers. You see your own payroll obligations. You never see which staff use WorkScudo, and you see a worker's content only where they choose to send it to you.

Questions employers ask

Is WorkScudo a payroll system?

No. WorkScudo checks payroll output rather than producing it. Employers keep running Xero, MYOB, Employment Hero or whatever they already use, and WorkScudo reconciles what came out of it against the award and the super guarantee.

Can I see which of my staff use WorkScudo?

No. A worker's account is theirs. An employer sees its own payroll obligations, and sees a worker's content only where the worker has chosen to send it.

What does it cost?

Employer tiers are subscription based, priced on headcount and payroll complexity. Pricing and billing terms are shown before you subscribe.

Does WorkScudo give legal or tax advice?

No. Figures are indicative and every one is traceable to the source document and the rule applied. SG charge statement drafts are prepared for you to review. Obtain professional advice before lodging a statement or remediating a shortfall.

How is our business data protected?

Production data is stored in Australia, encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. Multi-factor authentication is required on employer accounts, and every access is written to an audit log. The Security page sets out the detail.
